NTXHL and Pointstreak have completed the implementation of Digital Signature for Game Sheets. Enclosed is a description of the feature and examples of the game sheets. I want to thank the many people that were involved in making this happen.

For people entering games into Pointstreak, please be aware that 2 or more Officials names are required on the game sheet for it to be verified.

Also, the Texas Shootout Tournament over Labor Day and the Western Region Silver Stick Tournament both have their games verified and can be printed and used for credentials.

Line-up Cards

Below is the Line-Up card that we will be implementing this year to help get Pointstreak a little more accurate. The Coach will be required to cross-off any player not participating in a particular game, put date, check Home or Away, sign it and then provide it to the Scorekeeper. The Scorekeeper will then update the roster for that game in Pointstreak before the game begins.

 

Suggestion, modify the card for your team. Include 100% of the roster as well as Coaches and their CEP#. That way, it becomes a routine for the Coach to cross-off players and sign. The enclosed is good for 2 games. Generate the Master for your team and then keep copies in the same folder that you bring to games and also put some in the car’s glove compartment.

Attention All Scorekeepers......updated 9/3/08

Regarding point streak, some scorekeepers are entering and some are not entering the backup goalie on the player list. On the printout sheet both goalies are listed and the starter checked but some scorekeepers are only entering the checked goalie in the player list at the terminal. We just became aware that they need to be listed for the 20/10 rule for state tournaments.   Re-cap -- both goalies present must be entered into the system for each game - you enter the starter as the goalie and the backup goalie is selected as the BACK UP. 

Attention all Association Pointstreak Contacts.

You should have by now received your pointstreak access password for the new season.  This password is to be used only for GAME ENTRIES.  DO NOT modify or make changes in any other area in the NTXHL pointstreak site, doing so could cause you to loose your access rights.  This needs to be stressed as well to any team mgr in your association that you have shared your password.  There have already been numerous wrong entries on the rosters and some game tampering as well. 
 
Games entries should only be happening when scorekeepers do not have access to a terminal during the actual games. Only the team listed as the "Home" team has access to entering the game data in to PS. So, if you are hosting a weekend, please contact me via e-mail so I can grant temporary access to the incoming teams who are listed as the "home" team so you can access their games on PS. Once the weekend is complete and all games are entered, let me know so I can remove access.
 
Example: Midget Major AA Podunk Warriors hosting and need access to the Dribbletown Drips for PS data entry for the upcoming weekend of Sept 27/28.
 
 
All CHANGES, CORRECTIONS or ANY OTHER ENTRIES made in pointstreak must be sent to Jason Maurer or Tanya Brewer.

Pointstreak update....

We are off and running with the new season.  Pointstreak procedures are going smoothly for the most part.  There are a few last issues which need to be resolved.  ALL Home/Host team managers must print scoresheets before the game and bring them to the rink.  Home/Host team manager should get with the visiting team manager and be sure to verify each teams roster before each game, making scratches or changes as needed.  Respective Team Managers should get your coaches signatures on the scoresheet before the game.  It is the responsibility of the home/host team to turn the scoressheet into the scorekeeper before the game.  These procedures must be followed regardless of a pointstreak terminal on site or not.
