North Texas Hockey League Officers
President
The President of the League shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors. The President shall preside at all meetings of the League and the Board, shall be charged with the general management and supervision of the affairs and operations of the League and shall be ex officio a member of all committees of the League. The President shall serve as the League's representative to TAHA unless he or she shall designate another Director or officer in his stead.
Vice President of Mite, Squirt & Pee Wee Divisions
The Vice President shall be responsible for the day to day league operations for the Mite, Squirt and Pee Wee age groups. They will put in place Commissioners for each League that will report to them. They will also perform any other duties as delegated by the President.

Treasurer
The Treasurer of the League shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors. The Treasurer shall keep full and accurate accounts of all receipts and
disbursements of the League and shall deposit all monies or other things of value in the name and to the credit of the League in such bank or banks as the Board may approve from time to time. The Treasurer shall disburse the League’s funds under the direction of the Board, taking proper vouchers therefore, and shall render a report as to the financial position of the League at designated meetings of the Board and of the League. The Treasurer shall be responsible for arranging for the filing of all required tax returns with any governmental authorities.
The Secretary of the League shall be appointed by and shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of Directors. The Secretary shall attend all meetings of the Board and of the League, shall keep a record of all proceedings at such meetings and maintain such records, and shall be the custodian of the League's records other than the financial records maintained by the Treasurer.
Committees
The Board of Directors shall provide for the appointment and supervise the operations of committees. One member of the Board of Directors shall be appointed by the President as an ex officio member of each Committee. Committee members may be members of the Board, but need not be. In addition to any other committees that may be established by the Board from time to time as necessary, the Board shall appoint the following committees:
- Referees and Discipline - Responsible for interaction with referees and their association and for all proceedings involving potential discipline for on-ice behavior (including behavior while in the rink prior to and after their games) of players and coaches. Normal recommendation by the Board that this is a voting position on the Board of Directors.
- Webmaster/Statistician - Responsible for maintaining the Website and the League Stats. Normal recommendation by the Board that this is a voting position on the Board of Directors.
- Communications/Registrar – Responsible for maintaining contact lists, communication of NTXHL and League information to all Associations. Responsible as League interface to USA Hockey and their Registrar so to keep League in good standing with USA Hockey. Normal recommendation by the Board that this is a voting position on the Board of Directors.
- Playoff Committee - Responsible for planning and administration of end-of season playoff tournaments or for any other tournaments hosted by NTXHL.
Age Bracket Commissioners
Manage the communication between the league and teams in their age brackets. Monitors teams for compliance to league rules, including suspensions. Works with Division Commissioners to resolve scheduling, game and roster issues and to distribute league information. Coordinates with Playoff Director for planning and administering the playoffs for their age brackets.
Division Commissioners
Reports to Age Bracket Commissioners. There is one (1) Division Commissioner per Division. Division Commissioners work directly with Team Managers and coaches on scheduling, roster issues, game result reporting timeliness and accuracy and division administration.
Registrar
Collect and manage the USA Hockey rosters for all participating teams. Review for compliance with USA Hockey and NTXHL rules pertaining to rosters, registration and validation of USA Hockey membership for all players.
Voting Representatives
Appointed from a Member Association to elect the Board of Directors and set policy decisions for the League. Each Voting Representative has one vote for each team participating in the League during the prior season.
